Expedition
One Trail Series rear Bumpers
are designed using state of the art CAD programing. Trail
Series bumpers are created with all the elements
necessary for a quality bumper, and are designed to ensure
off-road function without sacrificing design.
Design
Utility
Four main areas were the focus of design with the trail series
rear bumpers to keep function and utility to a maximum: departure,
protection,
recovery, and
exclusively for the rear bumpers, an optional Smooth opperating
Swingout Tire Carrier system.
On top of that was a need to innovate and break from the norm
to make bumpers that not only function but give personality
and style to your vehicle. For this we focused on making smooth
lines, and precise angles, to give our bumpers the look and
feel you want (aesthetics).
If you came to this site in search of plain, rectangular bumpers,
you've come to the wrong place.

Expedition
One Trail Series Bumpers are designed to maximize
your vehicle's off-road ability.
All Trail Series
bumpers are designed knowing the needs of your vehicle. Trail
Series bumpers are comprised of 3/16" steel for
maximum low speed impact resistance and durability. Recovery
receiver & shackles are a standard feature on all Expedition
One rear Bumpers. Recovery eyelets are on the face of the bumper,
up and out of the way of terrain, rather than underneath--taking
away valuable departure and adding points for hangups. recovery
points are tied directly to the frame mounts for maximum strength.
Also, To maximize strength,
the rear bumpers come with frame reinforcement brackets to increase
rigidity.

Over a year of research and
development was put into the creation of our swingout Tire
carrier system. Our Designers worked extensively doing design
research with longtime Offroad Fabricators and hardcore enthusiasts
to develop the ultimate Swingout that combines strength, style,
and functionality all in one to make the most innovative spare
tire carrier the market has ever seen. The above picture shows
a view of it in its open position. The hub assembly Uses tapered
roller bearings to create a smooth swinging motion. outer
diameter for the hub is a monster 3.25" and utilizes
a spindle that carries a 1.75" I.D. for the lower bearings
and is topped off by a sealed greasable outer hub. Our rear
swingout accomidates up to a 1" body lift, and a carrying
capicity for up to a 37" tall tire.
