Jeep JK Rubi™ Skid Plate

With the addition of an incab sway bar disconnect for the 07' wrangler, Expedition One Immediately saw the need for increased protection for the unit, and greater over-all clearance. The Rubi Skid is a heavy duty skid plate designed specifically for the Rubicon model Jeep JK Wrangler and is intended to replace the low hanging factory plastic airdam and the lower cross member that is hidden underneath.

Designed specific for the Rubicon (as well as some newer X or Sahara models that come equipped with one) the Rubi Skid can be used whether your Jeep has an in-cab disconnect or not. Made from beefy 3/16" thick steel, the JK Rubi Skid offers added protection and increased clearance. Its unique design allows the electronic sway bar disconnect motor to be rotated upward providing greater clearance from boulders and obstacles on the trail. The Rubi Skid works in conjunction with all Expedition One bumpers, stock bumpers, and may work with some other after-market bumpers as well. Available in satin black powder coat or bare steel...
